12th - 17th March 2017
What a great month so far! Mo completed her Day Skipper Practical with Torbay Sea School, on 'Nashira', a Bavaria 36. Mo and two others, Chris and Tim along with Chief Instructor Symon, sailed from Brixham to Dartmouth, Blackpool Sands to Salcombe and then back to Brixham. A brilliant week of learning how to sail.

Mattis has been investigating the rudder as there'd been a reverberating noise going up through the rudder stock when the engine is running....
22nd - 23rd March 2017
On the 22nd March, Mo made her first yacht delivery. She and instructor Charlie from Torbay Sea School were picked up by the new owners of 'Dolly' a 1970's Sadler 25 and drove them from Brixham to Brighton. Dolly had just been fully refurbished and the new owners were excited to see her on the other side, back in Brixham. Mo and Charlie waited for the winds to die down and they set off about 4pm. At around midnight and onwards, the weather turned slightly worse than what was forecast the day before and they were now expecting with Force 6/7 across Lyme Bay and it was around Force 4/5 by the time Mo and Charlie got back to Brixham at 6pm, 23rd March, 150nm and 26 hours later. What a great sail down the coastline.
