We had a look at 5 different boats, most of which were Contessa 32's and we knew on the day when we saw Jingo, she was the one. She had been on the market for nearly 8 months and for some reason was unable to sell. We could see no huge issues with her integrity or structure, so after a week or so of deliberating, we decided to put in an offer for Jingo. The owner accepted our offer and soon we were about to have a survey from a local surveyor. We were very happy with the survey results and decided to go ahead. We had several recommendations from the surveyor, before completing the sale and one of them was to replace the chainplates with new ones. So we spent a few weekends pulling out the old chainplates and Mattis fitted new ones, ready for our journey from Chichester to Plymouth. In March, Mo completed her Day Skipper Theory Course (5 days).
