The weekends after we arrived, we tried to get the engine working again, but we didn't know what caused it to seize. We originally thought we'd run out of fuel, but there was plenty of fuel left in the tank, so we started replacing the fuel filter, air filter, to no avail.... Then one day Mattis found that one of the outlets was blocked with a small amount of debris. This cleared all of our problems and we had a working engine again! Hearing our Beta 20 engine roar again truly was music to our ears. We moved Jingo from Plymouth to Cornwall, 30 minutes away, to a small marina in Millbrook. Mo completed Level 1 Dinghy Sailing Course (2 day weekend course).
