Jobs to do in January
- Order and install all LED light bulbs, including mast light
- Paint the inside lockers where webs were glassed in (ready for chainplates to be installed)
- Install upper and lower chain plates
- Sand the hull and put on new antifoul ready for the next season
- Repair the rudder
- Sand, oil and re-install capping rail
- Put mast back in
- Tune new rigging
- Install roller furler
- Jingo is ready to be put back in the water

Fibreglassing complete, ready for installing the new chainplates
Ready for the new coat of antifoul, navy rather than blue

This week we completed the following:
- Attached new rigging to mast
- Finished putting in the chainplates
- Grinded down and epoxied rudder
- Sanded and painted lockers
- Tidied

Ready to epoxy to the holes found in the rudder
Sanded down to key the surface and refreshed with glossy white paint
Jobs to do from now until April

Hull

Make taffrail
Service seacocks
Get underwater primer
Antifoul the hull
Buy bilge pump
 
Navigation
Get compass lights working (may have to uninstall compasses and re-bed)
Install hydrovane (buy ring) (get pads)
Call NASA, R.E: NAVTEX
Sort out AIS
HF receiver
 
Interior
Install speakers and heads cabinet (with hole for heads breather hole)
Secure fire extinguishers
Install CO alarm
Clean water tank
Make sure all hoses have jubilee clips (especially engine hose)
Replace bunk fronts and bring plugs



​Deck

Measure for awnings
Install solar panel (buy deck gland)
Clasps for cockpit and chain lockers
Seal saloon hatch
Sand and oil capping rail (bring plugs and screws)
 
Engine
Check fuel tank
Secure battery lid
Buy gas bottle and get refill
Buy engine spares (see list in Nautical Almanac)
 
Propulsion
Ring C&O Engineering R.E: propellor
Get underwater primer and paint epoxy repair patches on rudder
 
Safety Equipment
Secure danbuoy
Figure out how to secure anchor
Buy anchor shackle
Reinforce transom and backstay web
Buy liferaft
Buy dyneema as backup stay
Buy jackstays and tethers
